2019: A Year of Love

The new year is here! The new year is here! What have you done so far? Yes, it is just 8:30am on January 1, 2019. I woke up this morning, looked around my room, and nothing had magically changed. I didn’t bounce out of bed with more energy. The room didn’t look brighter. Little minions hadn’t organized my closet or cleaned my baseboards. My shower still had soap scum on it. Nothing was different in 2019.

So I laid in bed and scrolled through the gram. But then I caught myself… Wait a minute! Get your a&& up an get to work. You said 2019 is the year of love.

Doing what I love requires me to DO what I love. DOING requires action. So, i put the phone down and picked up the laptop. I worked on some graphics, messaged a friend (she’s doing great by the way), and started working on a series of blog posts (yes, this is one of them).

See, 2019 won’t be any different if my actions aren’t different. Love is a verb. Verbs are action words. So look at your resolution. What are you doing on this Day 1 of 365? Let me know below! I want to cheer you on!
